CII Foundation (CIIF) was set up by CII in 2011 to undertake a wide range of social development and charitable initiatives across India. CIIF works towards inclusive development by providing a meaningful bridge between marginalised communities and donors, especially the Corporate Sector.

CII’s Woman Exemplar Award is meant to discover, recognize, and support women who are working at the grassroots. Brief

CII’s Woman Exemplar Award is meant to discover, recognize, and support women who are working at the grassroots. These are exemplary women who have overcome personal hardships and #LeadLikeANaari to uplift education, health, or micro-enterprise sectors in India. Winners win individual cash prizes, certificates & trophies, mentorship opportunities, and a chance to network with other women leaders from across the country who, like them, are working in the development sector.

Challenge

As part of the outreach, a lead-gen campaign in English and Hindi was required to appeal to the masses and get accurate conversions in the form of nominations. The communication had to be simple for explaining the intent of the award program yet appealing for relevant nominations to be filed for consideration.

Results

Leveraging the team’s multifaceted expertise in content/ copywriting, digital, communication design, we cracked the ad campaign as well as a digital film amplifying the cause of the Woman Exemplar Award. The campaign primarily run on Facebook, gave 1.68M+ Impressions and 57K+ Website Visits in a span of 15 Days.

Cleaner Air, Better Life

Brief

CII in collaboration with NITI Aayog launched the ‘Cleaner Air, Better Life’ initiative in 2016 to bring together stakeholders to find solutions to major contributors of pollution, primarily stubble burning in Punjab and Haryana that creates a thick smog over North India during winters.

Challenge

The communication had to be simple, impactful, and engaging to decode complex concepts while garnering support ground. The project wasn’t limited to delivering clear and concise communication but relationship building and stakeholder engagement at the grassroots level to ensure change.

Results

Onground initiatives included a range of interventions for enhancing farmers’ knowledge and capacity on Sustainable Cropping Systems, helping them adopt new tools and technologies, and ensuring regular monitoring.
Digital activation included films and social media for awareness building and creating a regular touchpoint with the intended TG.
